Graphite, sketch paper, 4 hours. Found this photo [link] of Alicia Keys in a magazine. Thought it was pretty, decided to sketch it. Did so on rough paper, when I'm used to smooth, and it wasn't working out like I'd have liked, so I gave up on the hair 1/2 way through. I am not particularly pleased with the results. I do appreciate everyone else liking her, though! Thanks guys!

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
